Coconut Milk Kefir


  • 1-13.5 fl oz can of unsweetened organic coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen or fresh organic blueberries
  • 1 to 2 cups of filtered water (depending on your preference of thickness)
  • 1 probiotic capsule of 20-40 Billion CFUs
  • Dash of salt (optional)


  1. In a blender or Vitamix, blend together coconut milk, blueberries and water for about 40 seconds or until well blended.

  2. With your hands, open the probiotic capsule and empty content into the coconut milk mixture. Blend for 10 seconds.

  3. Pour mixture into a 800 ml Mason Jar. Cover with towel (do not put the cap on the jar) and leave on the counter for 12-16 hours.

  4. Tightly screw on cap of the Mason Jar and shake the kefir. Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy within 7 days.
