Cacao Almond Balls 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup almond butter

4 dates pitted

½ cup to 1 cup raw cacao nibs

¼ to ½ cup of ground flaxseeds, ground chia seeds and Hemp seeds mixture*

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 teaspoons cinnamon

½ cup dried organic unsweetened dried cranberries, raisins or mixed dried berries (use sulfite-free options)

Directions

  1. In a food processor, blend together almond butter, dates, flaxseed, vanilla, cinnamon, and dried berries until it forms into a ball.

  2. Mix in ¼ cup of cacao

  3. Roll or scoop mixture into balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. The mixture may be sticky.

  4. In a shallow bowl, add 1 cup of cacao nibs. Roll each ball into the nibs. Return the rolled balls to the cookie sheet

  5. Place cookie sheet in the freezer for 30-minute. Put balls in container or freezer bag and store in freezer.
